Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Airport Taxis Manchester. By booking or using our services you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking Confirmation

After payment you will receive a Journey Acknowledgement email. Once a driver is assigned you will receive a Journey Details email which includes pick‑up instructions and the driver’s contact number. It is your responsibility to check all booking details for accuracy. We are not liable for costs or losses arising from incorrect details provided by the customer.

2. Liability for Missed Flights & Delays

Airport Taxis Manchester accepts no liability for missed flights or connections caused by traffic, accidents, mechanical issues, roadworks, severe weather, airport delays, or other circumstances beyond our control. Passengers are strongly advised to allow at least two (2) hours for airport check-in. Failure to do so is at the passenger’s own risk.

4. Animals

Animals will only be carried if agreed at the time of booking. Animals must be transported in appropriate carriers. We reserve the right to refuse carriage of animals not pre-approved, without refund.

5. Vehicle Allocation & Subcontracting

We may use our own vehicles or approved third-party operators. If the originally booked vehicle is unavailable we may provide an equivalent or upgraded vehicle at no additional cost.

6. Waiting Time

For airport collections we provide one (1) hour free waiting from the actual aircraft landing time. After this period waiting is charged at £25 per hour (pro rata). For non-airport journeys waiting is charged from the scheduled collection time at £25 per hour (pro rata). Deferred pickups (e.g. "45 minutes after landing") commence the free waiting period from the agreed deferred collection time.

7. Tolls, Congestion & Parking Charges

Tolls, congestion charges, ULEZ, LEZ and parking charges are not included in the quoted fare unless explicitly stated at the time of booking. Any such charges incurred during the journey will be billed to the customer in addition to the fare.

8. Amendments

All amendments must be requested via our office by email or telephone and confirmed in writing. Any amendment will incur a minimum administration fee of £10. Last‑minute amendments (within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup) may incur additional charges depending on the nature of the change and operational costs; these will be confirmed at the time of request.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup are eligible for a refund less an administration and card processing fee of 10% of the booking total. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup are non‑refundable.

10. Payments & Security

Payments are securely processed by Opayo / Elavon using 3D Secure (3DSv2). We do not store full card details. Saved card options are held by the payment provider and can be deleted on request.

11. Damage & Cleaning

Passengers are liable for any damage, excessive soiling or contamination caused to vehicles. Cleaning fees start from £80 and repair costs will be charged where applicable, including loss of earnings during vehicle downtime.

12. Conduct & Refusal

We operate a zero‑tolerance policy for abusive or threatening behaviour. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service without refund where passengers pose a risk to staff or vehicles.

13. Complaints

All complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days to info@airporttaxismanchester.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5–10 working days and provide a full response within 15 working days where practicable.

14. Surcharges

A 50% surcharge applies to journeys scheduled between 18:00 on 24th December to 23:59 on 26th December, and 18:00 on 31st December to 23:59 on 1st January. Additional peak surcharges may apply at other times and will be notified at booking.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
